Its a joke, I'm a member on the srt forums and there is ALOT of bs on there. I did say that they were right didnt I? I also did say the car did sound like it was running didnt I? Its all good I'm not starting a war. If the srt removed the camera guy and was running right he probably would've won.

I know...lol...thats what was refering too. Just a typical response from the srt forum because the srt lost. The first response would be...car wasnt running right...blah blah blah...retune and so on. But obviously that srt didnt sound right and watching those gauges they were all wacked. He's probably got boost leaks, has the boost turned too high for the setup he's running, not the proper tuning...the list can go on and on. But I'd like to see a redo of this race when the srt is running right.

 

i told you guys this car sounded like crap, he was probably running too much boost

I'd like to know what size injectors he's running. Holding 14-15lbs of boost is about right for your "typical" stage 2 setup. Who knows....my friend had problems with his srt...basically same setup....had a studder when he pulled into boost....changed the plugs, wires, your typical items...still there. We still havent figured it out...lol....possibly could be the O2 sensor off the O2 housing. But it doesnt sound like he has that problem. Hopefully he figures it though.

I don't understand how stock injectors on an 04 bolt on Neon seem out of this world...maybe it's the syntax of your response...but it seems as if you're scoffing at stock injectors being on the car, as in it's not believable IE "typical answer from srt owner"

sorry, maybe I didnt write it well. 03's had smaller injectors .There for that boost level would be too high for the setup he's running. On an 04 and up that would be fine. So obviously that is not the reason why he is running lean, its probably a combination of a boost leak and a bad tune. I have no reason to doubt that the srt4 cant win. But its not like that setup is unbelievably fast either. My friend has that same setup but running on a mopar tune its quick, but he only beats me by a car length to 100 and the only mod I have on my 07ss/sc is an airbox mod and cooling mods. Even if he gets his car running right its still gonna be close race with a 2.8pullied ss. Also the other half was a joke. Just seems like a "typical answer" from any person who owns an srt, I'm not trying to hate...so dont get all worked up.

 

full bolt on neons on the stock turbo have gone 115 through the traps (I'm not saying his Neon is a 115 trap car, but with a righteous tune they've gone there with his mods)...Has there been any stock blower Cobalts going 115 without spray?? I wasn't getting worked up, I just didn't get what you were saying.
