I like the 1996-1997 Camaro Z28 SS's looks a little better but a SS/WS6 is maybe .02 faster than the regular LT1's. Another thing I liked about LT1's was that the Auto was no slower than the M6 NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE HEARD.
As for the LS1 SS a fully SLP modified one would easily have 25hp over a regular LS1. The SLP/Bilstein suspension also brought the skidpad rating into the .92 to .94 area.

Also when and where did a ls1 f-body pull a .94 skidpad or even a .92???
The BS flag has been risen.
Awaken evil ricer boy superSS/SC!!!!!!!!!!
Are you ******* stupid kid?
And by the way look up what the $1000 SLP/Bilstein suspension adds before you pretend you know anything.
Here since I know your busy on SRT forums and STiloversareus.com I will post it for you.
SLP/Bilstein Suspension kit
- Bilstein 46mm shocks F/R (SLP specific valving)
- Eibach progressive springs (which also lowers the car 3/4)
- 35mm front sway bar and 21mm rear sway bar
- Harder durometer bushings in rear control arms (same as 1LE)
Keep in mind jackass that a stock SS with the F1 tires will pull a .88 - .89 and on BFG KD's will pull .89 - .90 with ease.
Well I won't keep you so you aren't late for school............

Don't get my F-ing thread locked!
I have never seen a stock LS1 get in the 12's at 5900ft, Im sure it's possible at sea level though.
The SLP package sounds bad ass and I'm sure it does a lot but why are you arguing about skid pad numbers?
Please, name calling is just lame...

at sea level a FULLY LOADED SS or fire hawk can hit 12's on a perfect day and the SS didnt return untill 1996, and wasnt available with the LT4 untill 97 and only 101 where made with the LT4.
