race him from a 40 roll and you should have a good chance at beating him, unless he has gears and isnt telling you about them. if you go from a roll, the faster you take it the better off you will be. 5th gear in an 04 stang is worthless. 4th gear will wind out around 100 +/- a few mph depending on how far the driver is willing to push it. once he has to shift to 5th he's done. good luck.

interesting death though...we raced a couple of times, he walked me twice, but on the third race it was in third or second, i was in second...we went and i got the jump on him and kept it till about 80-90 the we stopped...his car didnt gain an inch...as soon as we got out of our cars at the resturant he was like WTF...a fluke??? im flabbergasted! i didnt race him again after that, i wanted to hold onto my pride...lol
