It is my boys friend. He has a WRX imprezza. He has full catback, uppipie, cold air intake, and he has some kind of tunninr that bring his power to 260, he didnt tell if to the wheels because he was pissed about his big lost. So well to keep a long story short, we go on the way, i downshift to 1st, he does the three honks and we go. From the end of 1st to 2nd gear i put like one car on him then on second gear i pull away like 2 more cars, then in third i keep the distance at like 3 to 4 cars. by this time we are going like 120 and i have like 4 cars on him. We raced like 4 times and it always happened. we started out like from i would say like 15 to 20 miles. in the begnning my rpm were at like 5000 in first gear. Imagine i put like a car on him just in first gear. well i beat him all 4 times. then we got off the highway, and like we kinda went from a stop. and ill tell u! HE MURdered me! he took off like a beast. and i peeled outl ike crazy. Oh well w.e we were almost not racing that time. But i know for sure than from a stop hell take me, cuz i cant launch my car right.

 

It's not that you can't launch right really, it's becuase the WRX has ALL 4 wheels pinned to the payment during take off. FWD is hard to compete with that. Good kill though!!

 

You have to a lot better driver then him or the mods and tune are bad on his car

 

So he is running all of the cats? There is no way that car is even putting 260 to the engine..the CAI will make the car wrong badly and the catback/upie isnt worth 30 HP..even with tuning.

yeah i guess thats what he had. And i actullay lied, i spoke to him again and he didnt have no cold air intake. He did say that it does hurt the cars performance.

 

u prob launched from 3-4k rpms he prob launched almost at redline and maybe spun a lil. That is y the sti is amazing in the 60'
