On my way home from a friends house tonight just happened to run into a Corrado. We toyed around with each other for a mile or so until we got next to each other at a stop light. There was the usual sizing of each other up and the waiting for the light. I got the jump at the light, with little or no tire spin and from then it was just down hill for him. By the time i got into third i was 1-2 car lenghts ahead and he showed no sign of catching up. Race ended near the top end of fourth, not sure what speed cause i was too focused on the road. Car had at least a nice sounding exhaust.

 

Why did you continue to race him if he showed no signs of catching up????

Mostly heat of the moment. This was the first time i really got to open the car up and wanted to see how it handles high speeds. Was very impressed to say the least.

 

Top of third puts you at 98-100. So if you made it to fourth you were def. 100+

 

easily around 110-120 by the end of fourth. be careful out there man

 

I had a run in with a VR6 Corrado as well and didn't downshift outta third, I was trailing at first but as soon as I it 5 grand just pulled like crazy on him. He didn't try again the rest of the time we were driving beside each other.
