ss/sc vs 2006/2007 wrx

I know this will be a "been there done that" story but i want to share the story anyway

my feelings got hurt by a wrx from a dig yesterday.

a nice blue wrx wagon with A LOUD BOV yesterday stopped beside me at a light. we went from a dig to around 60 mph and stopped because of 2 cars in front of us.
In 1rst gear he instlanly got a car infront of me ( i love our car traction) and another half one by the end of the second. At that point i've stopped losing lengh. i wish we had more road in front of us to see the outcome in 3rd. it was the my first time racing a wrx...damn they fly from a dig! i gave him the tumbs up, he did the same and went our way.

you would have reeled him in about 80mph and passed him

Especially with a ricer BOV. I'm willing to bet he had 0 cause to put that noise maker on his car, and that he also had 0 tuning to compensate for blowing his boost to atmosphere.

I took an 07 on the interstate. Started from about 60 to about 120 and I pulled probably 2.5 cars on her by the time I let off.

If it doesnt have exhaust you definately see if they will race you. Exhaust is the first power mod to our cars, all other upgrades generally depend on exhaust. Although stock 06-07 are in the 13's with a decent driver, but thats with a lauch. From a roll it should actually be a pretty easy race for you...

BOV = the suck. As if someone doesnt know a WRX isnt turbo so they add the "hey look i'm a turbo" noise too it.

I killed my friends wrx from a dig with stage 2 only. he had a jump on me in 1st, but after i got into second and could go WOT, i passed him quick and kept going. I shifted into 3rd and kept pullin. Now I have an injen intake, gmpp catback and gmpp manifold. Im sure id slaughter him. He has a full turbo back exhaust and a tune. He thinks anyone that puts a bov on a wrx is a moron. Nothing like loosing all your boost just to make some noise.
