SS/SC vs Buick LeSabre

I was diriving about 10mph over the speed limit on the interstate in the fast lane and there was this old guy doing the speed limit so I casually go to pass him. I didn't tailgate him or anything that would antagonize the situation. Well he floors it and I can't pass so I get back over. He starts throwing his hands up and im like . So I get another shot to pass and he does the same thing. This time when I get over he locks it up and we're doing 30mph in a 55mph zone. I drop it into second and fly by the guy. I heard the powerful buick's engine roaring and it looked like he was standing still as I flew by. Once I passed it was very sensory stimulating. I got a beautiful headlight show, serenaded by his horn, and some ancient culture sign language displayed.

He got off on the same exit and was behind me playing me a different song (it had the same note, very long too) and showed me some more sign language.
(sarcasm)

I've never seen a case of road range in an old guy like this before. Needless to say it was quite funny.

Haha that's great. Do you have any clue what set him off to do that?

No idea lol. Like I said I wasn't even close to the guy, except when he locked it up lol. That buick took a nice nose dive.

then i saw it was an old guy, and read the whole post.

i love "racing" old guys...they have the most heart in the race, and they dont give up. they offer a real race cause you never know what to expect from them!

Maybe he's upset at your car. I had one old man (70ish?) like the 3rd week that I had my car start shaking his head at me. I think he was pointing at my wing and laughing too.
I just smiled back.

That's awesome. But just to **** the old guy off more I would have started to slow down once I was in front of him.

I should have pulled beside him for a second then took off and left him. I'm sure I was stereotyped and that had something to do with it.
