Sure that wasnt a V6? Holy crap. if you had your "Future Mods" installed I could see that happening, but with just an custom intake mod, no way...

guys that was an LT1 that is not nearly as fast as an Ls1. plus those camaros are heaaaaaaavvvvvvvyyyyyyy. use some logic guys

if you listen to the camaro it didn't even sound like he shifting right... it didn't sound like he was trying to race or he can't drive and was taking an easy on his car... but none the less good kill I don't like that model year camaro anyways good job..

 

you can see the z 28 badge on the car in the video. The SS beat the Camaro, shouldn't you guys be happy instead of doubting? I mean, it's a video, what more proof do you want? Good kill

I dont think it was an LT1 I have an LS1 trans am 385 hp, and i walk all over theese little cars. It was prob a v6 CamaroFako Z28. I do some racing and i own both type of cars so just from experience i would say not imposible with a verry inexperienced driver in the LT1 and a monster of a Cobalt SS/SC. I bet the Guy in the Camaro thought he was going to take you when you lined up though. Good Kill.

LT1s can be pretty quick if they've been taken care of and/or modded properly. But if its beat to hell and not maintained, they can be dogs. Definitely not up there with the likes of the LS1/2 at all, but they're no slouch.

Now that I watched the vid, it does sound like he was granny shifting and not going WOT, but maybe its just sound quality or some ****, Im not gonna call BS or anything.

 

ok. if you must know. i beat that camaro on the hit, and it was not a v6. it was a z28 lt1, yeah i know they are heavy and slow and all that bs, but i still beat him, on a very VERY small shot

 

all you guys are so quick to call BS, just be proud one of us beat up on a big v8
