coming home from work today....yeah workin on saturday lol...but coming home, i see a dark grey new 08+ wrx with exhaust from what i could see. he gave it a rev, so i did back. we slowed down to about 45ish and go till about 125. and we are side by side the entire time. this was one of the best races ive ever had. then we rolled to a parking lot and talked for a min, he told me he had intake and exhaust. i told him thats what i have also.

Nice run!! The thing that surprises me, is that they are mid 13 second cars in the 1/4 mile. I think during testing they run like .1 seconds slower than the STi.

 

it had to have been a 08...the 09's are as faster, and sometimes faster than the new STi's...

 

the wrx are quicker to 60 than teh sti, but the sti is faster

 

Yeah, from a dig the WRX should beat him (atleast well driven) though it still should trap lower.

There is this guy around town where I live with an STi, I think he has intake and exhaust, but I'm not sure what else. And at the local 1/8 mile track where I live he runs like 8.6-8.7 or so, and the best I've run is 9.1 because the track prep sucks ass, but since he has AWD it doesnt bother him or his car. Anyways, he talks so much **** it isnt even funny, he hasnt said **** to me but he talks **** to my Brother all the time about his SRT-4. He said he would race my Brother from a roll like 3 times but hasnt yet, he keeps having excuses. I hope when I get my DR's I can atleast hang with him at the track.
