SS/SC vs. TC

Well, I was on my way home from work today and about to get on to the highway, I notice getting on the highways that there's a light blue TC in front of me, lowered with black tail lights and and exhaust. So when we get up on the highway I get in the left lane and pass by to see if he'd follow. However when I look in my rearview mirror I see the front of his car and I see an intercooler!!!! I got pretty excited for a second and knew he'd follow...and he did. I was in the center lane and he gets into the far left lane and starts coming up fast, about when he gets to my rear fender and put it back into 3rd and hit the gas and pulled aways pretty good. Next we get a good open strech of highways and he pulls up next to me. I sit there in 3rd and honk it off.....3 honks and we take off. Instantly I pulled about 1/2 car ahead and held it that way through half of 4th gear until I had to let off due to traffic. Then he rolled the window down and we both gave the thumbs up and went on our ways. Was a pretty cool run, I never came across any decently modded tc's before, and his car was nice and ran pretty quick....but I held it down for the balts

I doubt it was the TRD kit....with that kit on the scion is still a low 15 second car. And I doubt that it would hang with me with the mods I have done......

Nice Kill, my buddy has a TC that he has put lots of work into but kept NA. He is talking internal work this summer so he could be pretty nasty.

gm stg 2 will deff take on an 8lbs TC. they are just not fast enough. Once you get lower comp pistons tho, they can be turned into little monsters.

good kill. I hate a lot of the dusche bags who drive TC's. Most of them are teenage punks who think their car is the ****. That is until I put bus lengths on them... Damn tools
