ss/sc vs. type s

well i was crusing the strip tonight and ran into a white rsx type-s. he asked if i wanted to run so i asked him what does he have done. he said "just an intake". so we head down to some open road and go from a 40. we were neck and neck between the shifts. around 90 he starts pulling on me (not hard, just 1 car). so then we proceed to do 1 from a dig. i bogged first so i didnt get any hop and i pulled 1 1/2 cars on him. around 60 he started making up ground and ended up passing me (again, he was 1 car ahead). i seriously doubt he had just an intake. i ran another type-s yesterday, he had intake and a header. we went from a 40 and i instantly put 4-5 cars on him. we also went from a dig and i still put 5-6 on him. so, all in all, it was fun.

Yeah, that guy had more than just and intake. If you read GTP's thread, he was at the back quarter panel with a Type-S in a 2.4L...

Why lie about what you have done!? Is that so if you get beat, you somehow don't feel as ashamed after you dumped whatever amount of cash into your car??

Smells like a ***** to me, but whatever...great job at staying with that bitch!

Yea he had way more then that. My boy bought a BRAND new one 2 days ago. He runs with my friends 15 flat GTP.

I raced him from a dig and WOW ownage.

From a roll he can hold when hes in vtec, but as soon as he shifts, I pull quite hard on him. From 0 - 120 I must have pulled a good 9+ cars on him. He had some wheel hop and I didnt but he wasnt making up any ground. An intake isnt going to give you .7 in the 1/4 mile so I call BS.

I don't lie about what I have, I just let people assume. If they ask I tell, if they roll up and rev, then I just sit quietly til the green light. And sometimes for kicks, right before it goes green, purge a nice big cloud. A little intimidation can go a long way....
