yesterday (before i raced the ss/sc) i raced my firends g35 infiniti

we raced 6 times i think, 3 from a roll and 3 from a dig

we raced 2 from 40mph roll and 1 from 20mph

40mph roll i beat him by 4-5 cars esasily both times

20mph i beat him by about 4

from the 3 dig races happened the same

i launched at 4k and off the line he had me by half a car, my car redlined right after the launch so with the no lift shift i throw it into 2nd and had him in my sideview mirror within a second or less. i beat him by about 6 cars easily

im gonna race him again and i will post vids and u know i will cause i wont let u down XD

 

Could you explain to me what a "no lift shift" is please? sorry to jack your thread im just curious i keep hearing about it.

 

You dont have to lift off the gas to shift gears the computer gives you like .3 sec to make you shift before it goes back to normal from my understanding.

 

i dunno. 4-5 cars? was he auto? g35's are quick. for you to beat him like that you would need at least 260 WHEEL horsepower and a damn good driver.

 

nah depends if it was a newer or older g35.. i beat a couple of g35s no problem

and the t/c would beat my car so by deduction t/c owns stock g35

 

the "older" g35 coupe's in manual still put down around 220-230 whp.

 

Yah but it's a nice big heavy car... They are sill quick though. But stock they are no match for a decently modded cobalt.

it was an automatic with that shift thing, i dunno the name but its where u ca shift up in the gears like in the type s acura tl


i did beat him by 5 cars but i dont consider my self a bad ass driver but i guess i was good enough to beat it


i think it was 06-07 model but thats just ball park.
