On a cruise with 2 friends in my car with me in Scarborough. I spot a black g35 and pull up next to him to egg him on a bit. He was alone in his car. It was obvious to him that I wanted to run, so he stepped on it at a random red light and I wasn't anywhere near ready or expecting him to go, so he had the advantage on the launch (1 car length). He held the car length through 1st and half of 2nd.

Anyway, now we knew he was willing to run so I pulled up next to him and we talked (quote):

Him: "Don't bother, don't try, you can't do it"
Me: "Let's go from a roll"
Him: "I spilled my coffee twice, and now I have to do it again?"
Me: "Why don't you want to go from a roll?"
Him: "Sure, go from a roll, it won't matter..."
Me: "ok, let's go"

Bottom line here is that he was an arrogant jerk of epic proportions.

So we lined up, 3 honks, and ran from 50km/h (31mph) to 110km/h (69mph). I ran all through 2nd gear and when I shifted to 3rd he stopped racing. I walked slowly throughout the run and had 1 car length on him by the top of 2nd. He then quickly made the next available right turn.

Please note that my car had 3 people in it, and there was only 1 in the g35. Don't forget that g35 coupes are known to run mid to low 14's in the 1/4.

I hope it burned his ding dong before I burned his pride.

dude i NEVER seen a G35 run anywhere near a low 14 lol

maybe the 6speed manual Sport G35 but not the basic 5speed auto

if i raced a G35 100 times i bet i would win 100 times they are overrated if they say they run low 14s

a G8 wild definately run low 13s-14s easily not a G35 tho
