Finally got a run with an SS/TC.

I was on the highway and one flew by me 100+ mph, he slowed down for a few cars shortly ahead of me. I caught up to him and when the hole opened up he gassed it again. I flashed my highbeams once to see if he'd stop running away and he did. He slowed down, hard. I pulled up next to him, about 50mph and he was screaming nonsense about my piece of **** car, I lol'd. He took off again, but I was already in gear waiting for him. Dead even from 50-100ish, he shifted up a gear and I started to inch away. I cut off at 110 about a half car ahead.

I hope he feels good about himself.

Wasn't in the GTO. I was in my beater. 98 Buick Regal, no idea what whp it has, and it only has a few bolt ons.

well i dont know a lot of tc owners but i think were sort of allowed to be cocky... considered how well our cars are built and how far theyve came along

 

no..we are alowed to have pride in what we drive, but we are not allowed to think our cars are gods gift to this planet, look down on other drivers, rev our engines or laugh at other makes/models of cars because ours is so superior.

that just makes us like most douche-bag honda owners.

 

I'm I like the only one who caught on to the fact that he beat the SS/TC in his Regal??? Yeah the Regals can be fast just like the GTP's and what not, but from a roll, this TC must have started in like 4th and shifted to 5th at 100mph for you to pull him. Unless of course your Regal is modded to hell like alot of GTP's are. Otherwise,

on a lighter note, I think its funny how war stories has become hate on the SS/TC forum. Every other thread is talking about how much better anything is than an SS/TC. Since the SS/TC is the pinnacle of cobalt stock performance, and its a peice of ****, then what does it leave you driving? Well i will answer this for you, and modified bigger piece of ****.

And whether you beat an SS/TC or not in a buick regal beater, the SS/TC still won, because in the end you were still driving a buick regal.... A fast one maybe, but still, its a regal. The buick line is intended for senior citizens with blue blockers on. Its like saying a beat an SS/TC in an olds aurora.
