OMG im so glad to hear that my car has been a lil slow lately and its been 85+ and muggy. It feels a little blah not as strong as normal.

Its got a tune a CA header and a gmpp intake its generally able to chirp em off the line and on good days it will chirp em into 2nd and some times when the enrichment kicks. Recently its like it wants to but it won't. It only has 10 k miles so i know its not the engine is tired.

ok well i have a video of me beating the guy although its a little difficult to see the whole race and i wouldnt post a random BS story just for people to come on here and say im full of ****. idk if the guy couldnt drive and didnt know how to feather the throttle or wat i dunno but who knows and the 12psi is what he told me i personally didnt see the thing hit 12psi i was too busy driving my car. But **** if yall think im lying then damn i guess i wont post anymore stuff like this. I was just trying to give yall a interesting post thats all. Maybe he let me win???? that defintely could be a possibility right? considering i dont even know the guy...but your right maybe he didnt know how to drive his automatic too well. oh well

and for the signature, its signed on the bottom of the hood along with another signature but idk whose signature the second one is. couldnt really make it out.

yeah i know trust me im humble andi wouldnt make something like this up...i posted because i KNOW how fast they are so i thought it was cool...if he cant drive thats not my fault shouldnt have a fast truck if your gonna go out getting beat by SLOWBALTS as they call em around here.

i guess if it was like a 93 when they had 5.8 L Windsor FI V8 that was putting 240 hp, but when they switched engines in 99 to the 5.4 L supercharged Triton V8 and were putting out like 360 hp and then in 2001 when the 5.4 supercharged triton engine got beefed up a bit and was putting out ike 380... there is no way you beat it
and to you my friend i suggest doing some reading before you post...lightnings are automatics so i highly doubt he "missed all his shifts" unless your talking about going to work of course.

Beating him from a stop is pretty hard to beleive in any case. RWD + Auto > FWD Manual

Moved to war stories.

I dont see a FWD taking a L from a Dig, especially if its making more boost over stock, they are very very easy to make fast.
Dude that pretty weak times for those mods.

I had an 04 that was bone stock and it ran 13.8@104. Tons of my buddys used to race them and with just an upper and lower pulley, tune, and CAI they were all runing 12.5-12.3s all day long.

As for the ops race it was prolly a stock L, I could easily belive that. Most people don't know what they are talking about or he was looking at the "boost gauge" in the truck which is not very accurate. I don't know how you pulled him on the launch but he might have had wheel spin.

yeah he was spinning but i drove the wheels off my car too...it was probably my best start to finish run i have ever had but either way it was a good fun race and yeah im thinking it was probably mostly stock but i know it had intake and exhaust for sure but other than that it was prolly stock but my car is running really good right now too...our cars are no slouch specially from a roll.

No... there are no "GT's" with V6 engines.

Yes, there are a handful of Saleen Cobras and Roush Cobras... like a few a year usually, and only in certain years, and in years that Cobras were built by SVT, obviously.

FYI, Jack Roush doesn't even sign all the Roush Mustangs. He *will* sign it if you see him at a meet or something, but it's not done at the factory or anything. Some people... myself for instance, wouldn't want a signature on the dash.

I said hit 12s and you said thats weak? How is that weak? Have you been to the strip in arizona heat? I dont think 12s are weak for a guy that puts like a grand into a truck that runs 13.8-13.9 stock. I know alot of unstock Lightnings here in AZ, alot of them run 12's - 11's, some 10s and lower. Itd be like putting slicks, a clutch, and a smaller pulley on a cobalt and getting a second faster if not more.

Any way my point is, you put any money what so ever into a lightning and a cobalt wont have a chance unless heavily modified. No way would a guy pushing more boost would loose from a dig unless hes a tard or lying.

Good video though! nice kill and good driving!

yeah im telling yall it was all driving and that truck in all reality is a very quick truck and probably faster than my car BUT BUT BUT if u look at my mods i have a decent amount of stuff done and i know my car well so i mean thats part of the reason people race so it might be faster but either way I beat it! so no argument here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry dude but with slicks and a stall that should be an 11sec truck without a problem, in Arizona I guess I could see mid-low 12s.

Also thats a lot more than a $1000 worth of mods.

ohh well who cares the moral of the story was our cars are quick and maybe can outdrive some of the faster stuff on the street.
