yeaaaa...... Stage 2, 2.8" pulley, full exhaust, CAI. It wont be a huge win, but a win none the less.

Id do the full exhaust, CAI, and 2.8" for safe measure if I were u.

i beat a friend of mines 99 corvette 6spd intake and exhst
i have stage 2 w/2.9, 3 inchintake,3inch dp, 2.5 exhst was only by a fender

 

Bolt on Mods on the ws6 isn't screwed. Cam = screwed

With the 2.8 coolin mods and full exhaust you'll at least make it interesting! Good luck

 

Auto or manual?

I have a 2.85 setup with HE and lost to a very lightly modded WS6 but a car from 40...but he was an auto...a slightly more modded MANUAL walked me no problem from 40.

 

i thought the last gen WS6 ran high 12's low 13's?

Having owned a modded ss/sc and 3 LS1 cars, I can tell you that even with stage 2, 2.8, intake, full exhaust, heat exchanger and a dyno tune the cobalt should NOT cut it against an exhaust-only ws6. However in the real world anything can happen.

You said he can't drive? Such a shame. A Trans AM WS6 is one of the most aggressive looking GM cars ever made.

mods in sig... have raced a few ws6.. ends up being about dead even... jumps = win pretty much

If he cant drive hee more than likely start in 2nd gear from 40 that will give u a good start...If he starts in first I think it will b a decent run..

 

lol a WS6 would skull **** a Cobalt SS from any roll, I need a hit of the blunt most of you are smoking lol

 

he is probably still short, T/A are fast and modified even more

 

no need for a tvs. 2.8 60s intake exhaust and tune should do it. make sure to bring along the driver mod too. ^^^^^ why is everyone on drugs just because they say a cobalt can beat a ws6? they arent the fastest things ever.
