stock SS/SC vs. modded Lightning

55-110 very late empty highway

I pull in 4th instead of 3rd (or even top of 2nd for that matter), hold even until about 85 and walk about 4 lengths by 100, 5ish by 110

Just thought I'd share, I have no idea what exact mods he has.

I'm sure this would be a different story had it been from a dig.

I'm gonna get raped in the dig for sure, I think I still have it in the roll though.

Maybe this truck is junk.

Congrats, you raced a F-150 sport! (probably with a few visual mods to make it seem more lightningish)

Tyler

Edit, just re-read that and you were next to him until 85 and then you pulled 4 car lengths in 15 MPH? You mave have raced a lightning, but he let off at 85 then son!

No, it wasn't a Sport, it was a Lightning.

Yep, he let off and kept accelerating, maintained that distance behind me while still doing 85 to my 110, and continued to follow me whilst doing 85 to my 110.

Smells like BS, especially with you leaving it in 4th at 55. You would get walked HARD by a stock lighting, they are quick trucks.

I just assumed it was a 2nd gen Lightning as the 1st gen's were only 240HP

well pulling 4-5 lengths in 15-20mph shows a MASSIVE power advantage. This should not be happening with a stock 2nd gen lightning let alone a modded one.

BTW redtint there is no such thing as an 05 lightning.
