I actually thought I was gonna win by a little. But I also don't race a lot of cars with N2O. NX rates their kits as WHP too, so he was probably sitting around 420-440RWHP on the nitrous with his mods and tuning. The funny part is he can't race me again until he builds his tranny -- these runs put a hurting on his stock 4L60. So in the meantime, I'll keep driving my 74,000 mile daily driver that runs the same day in and day out while he builds his car to be reliably fast.

I just ordered a GMPP Upgraded Clutch and new flywheel. Next is a G85 4.05 transmission. I will be ready. But I'm gonna run the stocker until it pops. I may even start NLS'ing 1st to 2nd on the E85 tune if it won't break.

That's why you're supposed to lower shift points quite a bit and let off spray for the shifts. 2-3 clutch pack loves that spray... not. 3-4 wot nitrous shift on any fully built(yes built) 4l60e is asking for trouble... and why people go from built 60e's to th400's or 4l80e's.

Stock clutch FTW! 3rd gear forever! I've been NLS'ing this car since 26,000 miles. That's 48,000 miles of "abuse" -- 32,000 of them tuned on E85/91 and every mile prior on GMS1.
