Subaru SVX... How would we do?

I was on my way home today and I noticed in my rear view mirror some car weaving in and out of traffic. He eventually went by me and it was some crappy looking dark green Subaru SVX. You know the one with the wierd looking side windows. Probably early-mid 90's. Anyways I came to a stop beside him a few lights up. Looks like he wanted to race, but I didnt go for it. I had to turn a block away plus the ground was all wet. I'm just wondering how I'd do vs him if I come on him again. (small town). Right now I'm bone stock but with winter tires and rims.

SVX's are slow as fudge! I've driven one b4. They have tranny problems too. Few ppl do STi swaps on em and turn em into monsters but those are rare. I think my 99 ML320 can pull on those things....wait...I think my ML320 towing my 20' bass boat will pull on it! hahah lol Cool looking cars but slow....

They're not exactly powerful, and they're porky. No reason you shouldn't take one out.

I've seen it tested between 5.9-6.2 seconds.

HAHAHAH the last paragraph on the main page...

"But don't let the problems scare you away. The SVX is a great car that one magazine called "a cross between Porsche engineering and Jaguar refinement."

I see them a lot, but rarely at the track. The one time I DID see one at the track, the guy driving couldnt do better than 15.6

You will destroy that car in a race.

I was looking at getting one for a kit car a while back, if you get the 1992 it has better numbers than the 1993-1996. In OEM spec they are naturally aspirated boxer 6 cly. with a 4speed auto. I was going to drop in a turbo kit and a sti trani then they are awesome also if you remove the awd control fuse it changes to fwd and you get more hp.
