i just thought i could just turbo charge this custom intake and the some spray in it.

 

Before you even think about doing something like that, read up on how turbocharged systems work and how much something like this costs.

There is alot more that goes into doing something like this besides a turbocharger and some piping. There is also alot of responsibility on your part when it comes to this type of project.

yeah i know of only one turbo charged...the system only costs 2 grand but the exhaust work and all the other work will cost go knows what.....if you know where i could go to reasearch how the cobalt trannys hook up and what not id love that.

i have this aquaintance...his girlfriend has an aveo that he put a ricecan on and drives around. he pisses me off, because he says my cobalt is only faster cuz its a 5 speed, and that we both have 2.2l's...i'm like yeah they are ecotecs but not the same size...he wont believe me.

 

ummmmmm his aveo does not have a 2.2.....hes insane....a 2.2 wont even fit in an aveo....and a cobalt should kill it 5 speed or not. lol.

 

FYI: A 2.2 and 2.0 Engine are physically the same size. So your LSJ swap, if your statement is true, you might want to re-think your plans.

 

i dont know if it'll fit or not, but i know in person those engine bays are freakin tiny! especially with the hood closed.
