redcobalt, idk who you are but i dont like you. Maybe if you take your hubcaps off like this guy did it would shave a few seconds off your 1/4 time.

have you ever raced your car at the track xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxsh5du wwxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx? or do you love ricer math just as much as the op?

i don't think people are doubting his ability to run 14s but the ability to run low 14's hell a well driven 2.0 that stock can cut 14.1 and thats a retarded good time.. a car with about 40 hp less case and point will NOT without major weight reduction or some slicks

not to mention the op doesn't mention 2.4 TB lowering or lightweight pullies/ weight reduction

Everything ripped out from behind the back seats, minus the battery, is roughly 140 pounds.

Not an estimate.

no the back seats in these cars are suprizingly not that heavy.. you'll take maybe 150 lbs out from them .. maybe 50 lbs out from the spare (more like 30-40) and the coupe is like 100 lbs less so you're taking out 300 lbs from the sedan

so youre telling me if i take out everything from the back my car will be 140 pounds.. What about the engine? I mean i figure that takes up a lot of space and added weight if i got that out i could easily run 9s like in the F+F

the engine weight 9 lbs, its made from carbon fiber and glue, actually thats a kia engine, if you gut your entire car and just have the frame and stuff its about 63 lbs, but like i said I can only weigh if it is the the weight of an elephant or not an elephant, and no the elephant does not sit in the back it rides shotgun DUH

so i'm a ******* moron.. yes I know vince knows more then me .. but but that has nothing to do with REAL WORLD EVIDENCE.. you're making the assumption that bolt ons will take off .5 seconds (in addition to the .6-1 second the tune takes off..)which it wont necessarily... also did you bother asking vince if it was 1 second with bolt ons? because thats what i've been told by him

don't call people ******* morons unless you know who you're talking to please.. i've been in huckers car as well as fast cars.. and i was in a fully bolt on 2.2 within 15 mins of being in huckers car.. and huckers car was NOTICEABLY faster.. going from that to what the OP has felt like hopping in a stock 2.2 after driving a 2.4 around
