Turbo Redline vs. 569whp Terminator
A bunch of friends and I went to a local meet/BBQ/cruise this past Saturday that a friend was putting on, and there were guys from all over the state there. Talked with quite a few people and checked out some nice cars and then grabbed some food and went back to visiting. Ended up talking with a guy from a couple hours away that has a 2.3 Whipple'd Cobra on a 2.75" upper pulley, stock lower, exhaust and supporting, on 315 Nitto NT555R's. It made 569whp on a dynojet. He was a really cool guy and we talked for a while and after we checked out both of our cars I asked if he wanted to run, and he said sure. First my friend ran him in his Built WRX (who I still need to run), and then it was my turn. I was on 25 lbs and we did a 40 roll and he honked it off, I let off at about 135. You can hear the honks in the video from my car, but not the angle from his car.
View from my car, quality is terrible because my buddy who was withme sent it to me in a text :/
Afterwards we went back and BS'd for an hour or so as others gathered to watch the videos. If anyone remembers a black Cobra I ran last year on the TVS, he was there too and wasn't too surprised at the result since last year I was reeling him back in at 370whp when he had 490whp. Both really cool guys that have really clean Cobras. They both said they want to run again next year or later this year after some more modifications! I said to let me know when, and I'll turn the boost up about 5 more lbs
Overall a really fun time with some cool people.

He could get better use of those 315s from a dig for sure. They'd have to put down some serious power to contend with the power to weight your working with, good run(s)! My buddy had a similar setup on a 2.3 whipple except a Torco tune that put him a touch over 600whp and a 100 shot that put him into the mid 10's. What elevation were you guys running at?

Its so fun, especially since a lot of the guys from his town (not him) were talkin **** when I pulled in. Apparently they all said I was trying to play people when I posted my dyno a while back. Had a few people ask if it really was 508whp, and I just said "Nah......it doesn't make that anymore" Which was the ultimate troll since its true, but it doesn't make "just" 508 anymore
The WRX did about as well as I did. His setup is a closed deck EJ257, stock 2.0 heads with springs and Kelford cams, 9:1 pistons and forged rods, STi 6-speed, rotated pte5858 setup on E85, 26 lbs and a tune I haven't spent a whole lot of time dialing in. He is quite a bit faster than another STi in town with the same turbo on the same boost that made 526whp.

The car is so much more powerful than I thought it would be for the boost levels it is on. And on top of that, I is so streetable, and with the coilovers and R compounds it hooks up way better than I thought it would on the street. I am 100% satisfied with how it is turning out!
