TVS SS Versus SRT4 Stg 2 Swapped 1st Gen Neon
Camera Car - 1st Gen Neon, with a Srt-4 Stage Two Engine Swapped in (Basically stage two.., it's actually using a Megasquirt stand-alone step-up).
My Car - Mods in sig.. Current Bottle neck is STOCK EXHAUST MANIFOLD..lol
Run 1 - Neon Misses 3-4
Run 2 - I Miss 2-3 (and throw my fist in the air..lol)..
Run 3 - Neon Misses 3-4 again

I got a free header that needed some work... and the work isn't done yet...(it was cracked).. i've only had the tvs on like 4 days now...
Surprisingly enough, boost still only hit like 19.5 when this was shot.. i was expecting 21 or 22 with the standard pulley restricted by the manifold. (I have ported the crap out of the manifold, but its still just exactly that, a manifold)
I'm pretty decent friends with the guy, now.. I met him because a base model neon BOV'd beside me in town one night and i had to talk to him!

Well I honestly have no idea what i'm putting down (I put down 272 before the head porting, dual pass and tvs).. but I'm guessing low based on the recent fail-dynos of the other new tvs cars. I don't know how much 2.5" Exhaust and a stock manifold hurts it.. but everyone says a 3" exhaust frees up a ton of power..
Another angle... but its only the run where i miss the shift.. and.. so.. it last like.. 3-4 seconds..lol

This brings up an important point as i watch the black smoke roll out of my car... AFRs were 10.9 at the time of this run.. (i made a super rich tune as a starting point)..

I don't think anyone would claim that you should lose to a stage 2 srt, even if it is in a lighter neon body. You have a TVS.
Mine would be the one they claim BS on. But I got vid proof as well, and the one I raced was a 50trim.

Also, just talked to him and he was spiking 23 psi, falling to 17psi... I don't know how that compares to a standard stage two srt though..lol
