Raced him at a 60 roll. Pretty even race he shut it down right as I shifted into 4th. He jumped the gun and ended with me a fender ahead. Pretty happy with this kill. Oh yeah about the car. Started off as a 300z na built to a twin turbo running under 15 psi on stock fuel pump. Car is a 14sec car but has a lot of potential just needs to not be afraid to turn boost up. I had a full tank with 4 total people in the car he had one passenger. Once again I surprised another person.

 

The turbos he put on, were they from another 300ZX that come stock with them? If so, they dont have that much potential. Good kill though.

 

Not really sure on that but the car is sexy as ****. Once he gets the boost up it should be a really fun race.

 

if he starts upping the boost and mods his car like a smart person. you will be toast. lol

 

i heard the stock turbos had alot of potential from a local guy with a 300zx, he says he has full exhaust and a boost controller, thats all, and dyno'd 375 whp... im guessing closer to 300-320 but i dont know much about that car...

 

those cars are heavy as **** lol. my friend has one that has a lot done to it including after market turbos, and from a dig i can beat him till like 110, from a 40 roll he usually beats me... theyre all top end. and this was before the tvs... lol

 

The cars are a tad heavy but it doesn't take much for them to run over 400whp.

 

I seriously doubt that. I ran one last week, with a stock tune on my tc, and crept away in 3rd and stayed flat through 4th. He had full 3" exhaust, tuned, he wouldnt tell me too much he was pretty upset he lost. He said he would show me the car after the race but he just took off.

 

Those cars can go well into the 12's with the stock turbo's but keep in mind they are only T25's already pushing 9 psi. They are close to being maxed out. Nissan liked putting small turbos on the Z's to keep spool time down.

 

Yeah, this 300 had a **** ton of nismo stickers on it, and stuff. Sweet looking car. Dude was seriously not expecting to lose, and I wasnt expecting the win....
