Got a couple races against cars I knew I stood no chance against during my trip in Florida.

Firstly I played chase a base model Vette. We were in a U-turn and he waited for about 15 seconds after traffic cleared and put his hand out the window motioning to light em up as he went out, we both floored it out of the U-turn and we both broke loose. I spun all the way through 1st and grabbed in 2nd. He spun a bit more as a inched away but once he caught traction he started walking away. I shut down at like 80 and he was probably 2-2 1/2 bus lengths ahead of me.

Secondly I had a 05-09 body style Cobra whip out of a U-turn roasting his tires ahead of me so I decided to drop it into 2nd from 45mph and went. I'd guess he was probably about to 30ish when I passed him. I put 2 cars on him while he fought for traction up to about 65-70. road went from 2 lanes to 1 with me in front and he was on my ass by 90. He undoubtedly would have walked me like nothing from then on but it was fun and his car sounded amazing.

Unknown mods on both cars, Vette sounded stock. Cobra may have had an exhaust.

Cliffnotes: Walked by a Vette from 0-80ish 2-2 1/2 bus lengths. Cobra chased me and would have walked away with a second lane.

05-09 Cobras don't exist...sounds like you raced a Mustang GT or Bullitt

 

the cobra is the gt500 i believe

 

That's probably what he meant.

It's not technically a "Cobra", but it does have Cobra emblems.

 

Ahhh, it was a GT 500 then, it had the cobra emblems.

 

What part of FL were you in?
