Alright, I feel kind of stupid coming on here asking you all this, but there's a kid in my hometown talking major **** about my cobalt, saying he wants to race, Etc. Now, I already told him that I'm NOT racing on the street.. i'll keep to the track, i've lost friends on the street, i've seen what that can do, anyway, on to the cars.
My mods can be found in my sig, and all he has is " a tune" with a box tuner... and I KNOW it's not true, but he's claiming 310HP... Like I said, I know that's far fetched and completely untrue, I do, however, know that my friends STOCK GT actually dyno'd at 263WHP.
So who do you guys think should win, I mean.. i'm 90% sure I can put two cars on him, but maybe there's some crazy box tuner that gives mad horsepower increases for stock GT's... I mean, when I was in the truck world I know you could shave a full second off a Fullsize GM truck with just a good tune.... Opinions guys and gals?

 

Just race him, I think you can take him though.

the magazines claimed 0-60 in 6.1-6.3 area for the gt

My friend has one also. We have only raced once....he had intake and cat-back, I had intake. We raced a few times from a few different mph...all the same result. Even til third gear, and he would just walk me, literally, in third gear. Just know that those cars respond VERY well to mods.
But with your mods and his, I think you'll come out on top.

Easy win if you can drive...ive raced a few with my simple mods and i pulled a couple cars...nothing i would worry about.

 

the gt is heavy as ****..... u shouldnt have an issue

 

Intense Stage III, etc, you shouldn't even have to ask.
