so my friend talking alot of **** saying his car is going to smoke me and my friends car. i have the 2.2l and my friend has a 07 ss/sc stock. but the kid is buying a ford contor SVT. i guess it gets over 200 whp. but im just wondering if i could beat him. its standard but i just dont know lol.

 

I thought SVT contours came in around 200 horse at the crank. I'd think the SS/SC should beat him.

 

o rely ya im not for sure i wouldnt expect that from a contour lol. but ya hopefully he does to shut him up.

 

2.5L HO V6 24 valve, with 195hp crank, and tipping the scales at 3,068lbs.

I think you should be able to take him in the 2.2L and the SS/SC will eat him alive, unless hes got some great list of mods which im guessing it doesnt.

Hm. You should be able to take the contour just because it is a little heavy but never know. I dont think you will beat the SS/SC LOL. So be happy with maybe 2nd.

 

My friend's buddy had one back in the day. He thought he was hot **** and then got beat by my other friend's 2000 civic SiR. 3 TIMES!!!

The Contour SVT was a low to mid 15 second car. It should have no problem with the 2.2 but will have no chance against the SS/SC.

I dont know what EM1 means....

But in Canada the previous generation Civics, the US SI was an SiR here. your EX was our SI etc.
