Who'd win?
Ok so heres whats up. I live in a small town so everyone likes to screw with the bright yeller slowbalt. So far I've beat a 350z or 300z idk it was one of them fairly new and nice, beat a Civic SI, and a Rx8( that I gave a head start) Well now some guy got a mustang and now everyones talkin **** on my balt saying hes going to rape me. Well someone tried to get it to happen and he told me to go fill up on high octane rice and then finally showd up...Didn't end up running. He seemed kinda hesitant. Its a 98 Mustang GT, Headers,exhaust,CAI. And i'm stock besides KN Airbox mod ZZP S3 Intercooler(Ottp stage 2 on its way now). He said were close to the same HP and hes an excellent driver from what I hear so someone that knows a vid or has a kill story please let me know how exactly you think it would go.

You're running a 08-10SS (turbo)? Depends what kinda of power gain he got from the mods. I don't think it should be a problem either way. The numbers speak for themselves:
Stock SS
260hp
260tq
~3000lbs
Torque curve is flat
Stock GT
225hp
290tq
~3200lbs
Torque curve peaks then drops pretty harsh at higher revs.

Ya. I have a 07 S/C Supercharged. My launch sometimes sucks hardcore, but once i get goin i do fairly well I think. And I was going to race him this weekened as soon as I get back into town (im at college) I'm puttin in my 0ttp stg 2 with 2.8 pulley, 60s and the rest of my goodies.

He'll win if you suck. The Mustang has the advantage with RWD. Plus you are basicly stock. If you suck at launching this car, he'll eat you off the line. With a 2.3-2.4 60fter, you could be seeing 15s if you race at the track. Wait for your stage 2 upgrade and work on your launching technique before you race and you'll take him.

Just don't go from a dig. To be honest 2V GT's are weak stock/bolted, Esp the 96-98 NPI GT's. I had an 01 GT (PI 2V which has better heads, cams, intake mani) with full bolt-on's minus headers, tuned with 4:10's and I don't think it could take my old 2.8 SS. They die big time past 70-80mph.

Yea, you'll win. I rocked a modded 97 Mustang Cobra's world with my stock LNF, pulled atleast 200 yards from a 30 roll. Unless he has boost, nitrous, or some engine work he should be toast. Just make sure you aren't carrying any extra baggage to give you plenty of room ahead of his front bumper to make it look really bad.
