i have pulled lightly modded ls1 gto's from rolls one a auto the other i believe to be a stick both were low rolls were they downshifted to first are you going to cry now that a cobalt beat a gto stop bitching **** happens someone always faster.

the red gto i raced had exhaust and i don'tknow what else we raced from a light and i pulled on him a 2 cars to 110

then you are obviously faster then the original poster.. thats who the fight is over.. his car is not pulling any stock gtos... period..

my car only trapped 85 in the 1/8th that was quite a few mods ago the red gto i raced was when i had those mods i have more now and i raced the silver one and pulled him pretty good and let off around 70ish. true the poster is slower than me but not slower than most gto's as far as a roll race goes

run 0-120... hed never catch up to the gto to show his "badass trap speeds" off

no my friends went to the track with me and they have mustangs the all ran 14.5's at 96-98 mph i could not break out of the 15's beacuse of massive spin and my clutch slipping on the ride home on the highway they thought the would size me up since i could only run 15's 3 buses later i changed there tune a little

come on man, by this guys logic NEITHER car is faster... if a car A beats car B in the 1/4 mile, it's faster. but, if car B beats car A from a roll race, it's faster.

the moral of the story is, nothing is faster than a cobalt. it will destry evo's and sti's because it traps higher.

no the were slower and they no it i just can't believe you are so dumb to think track times are everything, everyone else seems to get it when you atain a certain mph you could run such and such a time with proper traction like myself i am good for 12's but i need slicks and are friend syp is good for low 13's on slicks its all about traction

your car is quicker in a 1/4 mile race because it can go the distance quicker not faster as in mph. what is so confusing i swear i have found the only ppl in the world that think trap sped is useless. i don't give a **** about my car being faster than the next perons it is fast enough for me. i did not build my car up to say i am faster than this car that is just dumb

you are the one sitting here talking about traps.. then you say that track times dont matter..

so i forgot.. the national standard for measuring how fast a car is, is a 50-100mph roll... how stupid could i be

but again, what does it matter how fast it goes if it doesn't get there first? i don't care if you trap 200mph, if the other person gets there first you lose.


that would be a damn respectable trap speed, but the car still lost.

i am saying for syp that he said he will be racing from rolls most often that is why i am using the roll ex. in my opinion it is better to go from a roll so you don't attract attention from squealing tires and other ****

and yet again... when you DO run 12's, you can use that argument... if i drop a big ass turbo in my car i can run 12's too... but i don't have a turbo... so me saying "if i turbo'd my car i could run 12's" is a silly argument...

just like saying "if i had slicks, axles, etc. i can run 12's".

you don't have them. when you do, it's a different story. who cares about what a car COULD run.

ok example i raced a tbss it had cai heatsoak reduction kit for the tranny tune and a few other mods it ran 13.4's and i beat him by 2 cars from 35 to 70 on a burnt clutch. but wait i only run 15's so it could not of happen.

They are if the only place you race is the track. Which would only make sense as it is a "Race" track after all. Street racers are chumps.

i have everything on the car i am actually saving the money for the slicks. i don't need to drop anything into my car it is 12 second capable

i don't like street racing honestly and i have never tried to prevoke the races they came on me and i could not turn them down.
