ya so I'm driving home and there is an A4 playing around in front of me, we pull onto the same highway, and he guns it, I'm a few cars behind. so I gun it and as I'm pulling past him like he is standing still the look on his face is priceless lol basically jaw dropped what the hell is happening look. I slowed down when I had about half a train on him.

45 minutes is to far on a Sunday night when I have to get up for work at 5 in the morning lol. And yes blue I am scared, of blowing my tranny. Unless it be from a roll. I don't race anyone, never meet anything worth while, and if I do, no one wants to play. Usually some guys want to in town if anyone does, but that's not happening if I can help it. Got pulled over and let off easy to often, don't wanna push my luck no more.

 

I live 30 min from downtown, was out my last Sunday and up at 5am for work the next day after leaving a 7am night shift the night before, drove to gimli, rolled slicks and almost left on a flat bed.

I've hurt many A4 kids feelings.... They are nothing more than a fancy Jetta, lol.

 

I've done a fair bit of racing already this year. Always a go getter, just not gonna hunt him down haha

 

I don't go to the weekly races here looking for races so I haven't had too many but I'm waiting for a ZFR guy to fix his car and I'll be racing that Z06 and hopefully my brother's R6.

Maybe if Taylor was down for the weekend I'd be getting into a lot more trouble but I'm not the type to go to the races and challenge guys

 

what no one on this site knows, but one local friend saw and can attest to was that before my engine "mysteriously" started burning oil, a very mean sounding A4 tried messing with me - and he lost bad.
I had him outta the hole, and pulled bus lengths on him.

In the words of my friend (works at a local Chev dealer, and saw this go down when he was heading home from work): "that Audi tried to keep up - but he had no chance"



I think the tune (which was recently updated) actually leaned out when I really pushed it...
I suspect piston/ring damage on cylinder #4 - because it was (when I pulled it) burning oil like it was going out of style!

Even if it did get beat by a compact Chevrolet, that Audi does sound fantastic.

Maybe one day I'll talk to the guy, because I think I know where he lives.
