They are Hoosier Quicktime Pros.
26"x9.5"x16"
The rims are black steelies for a 2006 Cobalt. 16 inch rim.
Had them put together and balanced yesterday so I thought I would test fit them today.
Fit perfectly. No rubbing or vibrations.
Bought the slicks at GeeAndGeeRacing in Leduc, Alberta for $213 CDN each.

Thats what Im hoping for. The track we have here has really shitty prep and the surface isnt exaclty "good quailty".
I am trapping high enough MPH to run mid 13s at the altitude but just cant get off the line with stock tires.
they look great man and good luck at the track.
just a question though...is there a chance that you can break something in your suspension in using these? like if you launch at a high rpm and the tires just grip, would there be a chance in something breaking?

Man, you're lucky you can just run two. I have to buy my "fun" tires 4 at a time since grippy front tires + stock rear tires on a road course = wall, roof, or some nasty combination of the two...

Oh yeah lol. If I launch really hard I might break a drive axle or something. I know I wont burn out or shatter my clutch considering I have a FX400 stage 4 clutch.
Im not gonna launhc very hard. Never more than 3000 rpms most likely. I am gonna launch from Idle and work my way up in 500 rpm incriments and see where they launch best. It will most likely take quit a few passes to get the right tire pressure and launch rpm combo.
BTW, People have been asking me If I am driving daily with these on. No I am not. They are for track only. Only time i drive with them on the street is to and from the track.

What is the Saab part #? Also they are actual slicks right? What is the part # for the slicks?
If you snap your axels let me know and I will ship out my stock ones to you as I have no use for them anyways.
good choice!
I've been running that combo for a while now.
hey! - way too much air in those puppies for the track!! (yeah yeah, I know, just test-fitting...) gotta see em with the wrinkles tho! oooooooh...aaaahhhhh.....
you should be able to do this, or better! Good luck and have fun!

they're DOT slicks - not true slicks....
Hey
sorry but arnt thoose steelie rims quite heavy i thought with a car with all thoose mods now would be a good plan to lose major weight in that puppy there definately going to get good traction though. trust me saving weight helps my predator 500 in 300 feet was running 5.7s i threw a slip on exhaust and shed alot of weight off my predator and started seeing 5.2s just from shedding weight
