18's always look better than 17's, just put a little bit better of a profile on the tire to make it a little better

17's offer a better ride, usually lighter weight wheel, and cheaper tires. Plus with less rolling mass you wont notice the car feeling weighted down on acceleration and stopping. There are plenty of 17in wheels that look good, you just need the right size tire to complement it too. Plus I think when its lowered, 17's look a ton better.

17's with 225/45/17 tires is a good upgrade for a base Cobalt.

Yep that is what Im planning on running. I want to get some FE5 struts and progress springs. They should be a bit better than my Stock FE1 suspension. I also could get a Hardcore sway bar too.

That's my suspension setup. The drop and ride comfort is awesome! Get the FE5 sway bar endlinks too. They are ~2" shorter than yours. I just installed Canuck Motorsprts springs and TC FE5 shocks and struts with FE5 endlinks on an LT today. The owner was really happy with the results!

Which springs are lower, the progress or SSC (Canuck Motorsports). Also which ones are stiffer?
