Exclamation 18's on my LS XFE

I just bought 18's for my 09 Balt, this is an upgrade from my 15 steelies. A friend of mine told me that I need to have my wheels realigned and put in a sway bar. Is this true? The guys at dunn tire never told me anything about this.

The tire size is 215 40 18

any feedback is apreciated, sorry if this is a repost

alignment is a possibility, but you can decide that once you put them on. If it steers straight, you don't. I never have swapping between sets of wheels.

No, you don't need a sway bar. I recommend never asking your friend for car advice again.
