18x8

I'm lowered on Pedders coils, I have 15mm spacers in front and 5mm spacers in the rear. For the summer I'm planning to get 18x8 wheels with 245/35 tires. I'm wondering if they will fit without rubbing or any other problem

They'll fit. The rear sits a little high on pedders so Youl be ok.

You could but it might still rub on 245's. My wheels are +35 and if I hit a big bump they rub a little. Its not a lot tho. U should be fine.

I was PMd saying that the 18x8 with the 245/35 should be ok. I'm oriented toward the Yokohama Advan Sport. Anyone can give me any suggestion for an eventual better tire?
Thank you
Christian

I'd guess you'll have to ditch the spacers to get the 245 to fit if lowered. Unless you track the car I'd have you look at the Conti Extreme Contact DW or Bridgestone RE760. They're not quite as sticky as the Advans but a little more durable and alot less expensive....

Thanks for the advice. But if I'm looking to go with wider tires is because I want more traction, I don't really care if the Advans are less durable and more expensive

If you are dropping to a 35 profile, go with 255/35's. It has been done and they fit just fine without rubbing. I would look for an 8.5" or 9" wide wheel to go with them though.

my front wheels are that size, but im still on 18X8's. doesnt look to bulge or anything but i definently wont be going up a size unless i get wider wheels.

the wider tires work wonderfully tho.

you dont need 245s up front... its almost too much tire on a 18x8... your better off with a 235 and get better traction mods such as bags in the back or something.... you can go wider and wider with the tires alllllll u want but without proper suspension or a very progressive torque curve to get traction whats the point?

Well so far I have Pedders Xa coils. And OTTP stage 2 tranny and TTR upper engine mount. What else can I get for better traction other than wider tires?

Looks like that the Yokohama I'm looking for, they are more or less the same price either 245/35 or 255/35

idk why your using the ttr upper with ottp lowers.... not a good combination. the ottp lowers are limited to their adjustment by the ttr upper.

drag bags, travel limiters, you could fabricate a reverse torque arm if you wanna do sometihng really trick. slicks lol.

I have no idea of how to fabricate that stuff lololololol. But wider tires are on my list and I will def get them. I want the widest foot print possible.
I got the TTR mount because it came painted to match other things that I've got powder coated in my engine. I have to be honest, it seems fine to me.
