20"s what ya think !!!
while ur torque stays the same, the driving force pushing the car forward is decreased as wheel diameter increases. Therefore the car accelerates slower.
F1 cars are the highest peformance 4-wheeled vehicles on earth and they run 13in wheels.

here is the difference with the tires

Yes, they are a heavier wheel/tire combo and take a bit more energy to get going. Beating a SRT-10 truck was worth running the 20's.....made the truck owner think twice about talking ****.
your logic is flawed since you don't take the tire into account....

actually that confirms my logic. the 20" will be 2.3% slower than the 18.
20's aren't "R.I.C.E." if you do it right, those rims look HOTT! RICE would be BLING BLING Chrome spinners.
Now, I don't like rims with the lip on them cause it actually makes the rim look smaller. But going 20 with them, they'd actually look good. I'm at work so I can't see any pics except the rim itself lol.
Good choice on wheels and for $800 shipped, you got a deal!
so the consesus here is that 20s are acceptable for racing....
I'm in the wrroooongg place.
unsprung mass, rotational inertia, higher CG (go ahead lower it, see what that does to ur roll center), lower driving force for given torque so lower acceleration (2.3% per ur calculator).
I've done all i can here.

Dirty wins. Anyone who assumes racing on 20s is intelligent, has confirmed the exact opposite about them selves.
If you're talking about Ryan's Twincharged, he's faster than that now. He's down to like 11.1 / 11.2

actually i believe he mad a 11.09 pass but yea that who im talking about that bitch is sickk....but 20's arent for racing im here to say it right now.. i bought them to just cruise with a big rim thats all ...

And as long as you're not racing on 20s. You should definitely listen to Dirty when it comes to anything wheel/tire related. Considering it's what he does day in and day out. Even though he doesn't have a Cobalt, he still knows his ****.
Im not going to touch the rice comment about those wheels, ill just say its not my cup of tea.
Hell i push it with my current wheels on a much bigger car. But i also just DD on the TSW's and dont bother with racing on them.
what is street legal?
exhaust isn't, cats aren't, springs aren't, swaybars aren't battery isn't, injectors aren't, can't pass emissions (actually it probably could, i'm just banking on not needing to), no airbags, no seat belts, no back seat. etc.....lots of etc..
technically most modded cars arent street legal cuz none of the parts are DOT approved.
I want $25k in cash or equivalents for the Evo.

yes and those cars are designed to look good and make you make an emotional purchase. not designed for racing.
F1 cars are designed to race, indycars are designed to race, WRC cars are designed to race.
cars you buy at a dealership aren't (unless they have 'XX' or "GT3 RS-R" in their name)
I bet you both those cars come with the front wheels toe'd in 1/16" clear sign of a street car.
