215/40-18 size question!

ok, i know theres hundreds of size questions but i couldnt find any about this size.. i just got my lowering springs and need some new tires and i can get a pretty good deal on this size of tire.. Would there be any issues at all if i got this size?

Can some post a pic of some on their car? thanks

yes its 215/45/18 stock........

215/40/18 will be even smaller sidewall and less traction...

There are people running both of those with eibachs and no problems.. It's 235 and above where some people have issues.

If your choice is between 215/40R18 and 225/40R18, then get the 225. It will fit the 7.5" wide stock wheel perfectly and will be closer the the same OD as stock.

Here you go- http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...bmit&reset=yes
You want to stay with in 3% of the OE size. 235/40/18 is real close in all dimensions to the OE tire, but wider. 225/45/18 is good, 225/40/18 is a little smaller. Try out the link, I found it helpful.
