I just used a wheel calculator on that specified size.... damn thats huge lol.

http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp

Wheels:-------------Wheel 1------------Wheel 2
Wheel size---------18x8.5 ET 42----------28x8.5 ET 42
BackSpace--------162 mm (6.4'')---------162 mm (6.4'')
Tires:--------------------Tire 1------------------Tire 2
Tire size---------------225/40-18------------245/40-28
Section width-------225 mm (8.9'')---------245 mm (9.6'')
Sidewall-------------90 mm (3.5'') ---------98 mm (3.9'')
Tire diameter-------637 mm (25.1'')---------907 mm (35.7'')

270 mm (42.4%) taller.
*Seems TOO tall.

Rim sizes-----------18x6.5 to 18x8.5--------28x7 to 28x9
Circumference-----2000 mm (78.7'')------2848 mm (112.1'')
Revs per mile ------------804.6 ------------------565.1

Speedometer Assuming that this is OEM tire and speedometer readings are correct When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 85.4mph (137.5km/h): 42.3% faster.

Clearance: Package 1
Suspension
Assuming that this is OEM wheel/tire and there is no any problems with clearance on both sides Package is 10 mm (0.4'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.

Fenders
Package will stick out 10 mm (0.4'') farther. Acceptable for most cars.

Wheelwells
Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 135 mm. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider lower profiles or smaller rims.

I was wanting to go with 235's but I'm lowered on H&R's and I rub with the stock tires, so I'm thinking I have no choice but to stay with 225's

Where exactly do you rub with H&R's cuz I plan on getting them when summer finally decides to get here. Are you rubbing really bad?

It only rubs when the wheel is cranked completely, like when your doing a u-turn. Its not a rub that will inflict any damage in any way, I think the tire is just skimming the plastic inside the wheel well. Get the H&R's though for sure, they are worth it; the rubbing is so easy to avoid and they are more comfortable than the sportlines IMO.
