And I know I don't have to remind ya, but when you do get your wheels/tires on I/we need the full scientific report, especially if they do cause any problems.
I was reading another thread where a guy had to grind down his sway bar mounts, but that was for 16" drag radials.

on an 18x8 rim, you could go wider than 245. you could probably do 255 or 265 and still be within range but the tires will be much more expensive due to the uncommon sizing. There are people squeezing 245s on to the stock 7" wide rim, with a full extra inch you could get a 275 on there if you tried, but I don't think it would fit the car too well. I'd stick with a nice 235/40, I use those right now, and the only thing I see is a tiny rub on the inner fender on the drivers side, that only happened after lowering the car on Eibachs, but it is very slight.

Sorry, should have asked before, what tires?

I know, it makes me wonder, but like I said, it is VERY slight, not much at all. I cleaned the area up about two weeks ago when cleaning the air filter, and i'm gonna check it again soon and see if its still doing it. I don't know if maybe all the solid mounts and CABs have something to do with it, but that is the only thing I can think of. It wasn't even low air pressure, I have never had it below 26psi on these tires.

i am running bfg kdw2 in 245/40/18 I am also lowered but I did not rub at all until I went autocrossing and afterwards I noticed a that I had a 6inch hole in my driver side fender but not the passenger side. I'd say you are ok though by the way the bfg kdw2 help alot with traction.

Yeah, they are crazy sticky, they hold a LOT of power real nice, and cornering and braking is twice a strong as the stockers.
