245-45-R17 on SS/SC?

Will that size fit. Im going to be running two Redline rims on the front and want to put the Nitto 555R tires on and that size is the only one available. Will that fit a lowered cobalt with Sportlines without massive rubbing?

I took a look at my car on SSC springs and I think with a 40mm offset rim like I have you would be able to do it. My 235/45/17's are a good fit, but I'd be willing to bet I could get the 245's in there.

They'll fit . Looking at mine with the 235/45's I will have room . All the nitto drag radials Ive used have ran a bit narrower than the standard radial size as well , so you should be more than fine . My 275/40 on a 9.5" rim was closer in width to 245/45 and my 315/45 on a 11" rim was closer to a 285/40 in width ...for whatever reason .

...also there a member on this board running a 255/50 BFG drag radial on a 16" rim and claimed to have no clearence issues . I dont remember the screen name though .
