Aftermarket wheels vibes / bounce help?

So I had my hubs redrilled to 5x114.3 by a local guy ordered a set of xxr wheels and tire package mounted and balanced to my door

Installed the hubs, triple checked it, installed the wheels note they don't require a spacer

Then noticed a shake in the steering wheel at 45-55 mph along with a weird bounce in. The seat and feels like its common from. The front as well, then I installed these plastic Hub rings xxr included they didn't work too well I think they were the wrong size cause I didn't notice much of a difference , I'm guessing the wheels are so off center it's causing a weird hop from 30mph decel to a stop and then from a stop to about 30-35 it wants to bounce weirdest thing ever. My wheel bore is 73mm and stock is 65.1 so I just custom ordered billet aluminum centric rings hope they help , kinda lost my other sets of wheels never did this my winters do slightly but it's not as bad. They are 5x110 215/45/17 xxr are 18x9 225/40/18 I'm on bc could and its not slammed really low Also I torque the wheels to 90 ft lbs

Had a tire shop re balance them also they seem to blame the hub redrill , no other explanation
Also had an alignment few 2 wks ago

There's a gap where the hub lip meets the wheel bore obviously. Sorry about the iPhone grammar

Try the hub spacers, cobalts are both hub and lug centric. If you get the hub centric rings on there and they still do it then most likely dude redrilled them off center.

I guess you could always have the wheel checked to make sure there is no radial or lateral runout, but I'd like to think that the machine shop was careful enough with the wheels to where they are not bent. You would probably have to take the wheels to (another) machine shop to have them checked to make sure the seats and the new lug openings were machined square with the rest of the wheel.

well another option is getting centering lug nuts for the front to get it centered without needing rings. i have them on my varrstoens up front to center the rim since the spacer doesnt have a lip.

Umm did the guy who re-drilled the hubs do it right?

You switched back to stock, did you swap hubs or stud locations?

you never answered my question, did you swap hubs to your stock, or did you change the stud locations?

the only real way to redrill bearings right is in a fixture with a milling machine and a skilled operator. A drill press dont hack it.
sad to say the answers are like have been suggested by the tire shop.

you think he would say otherwise? take a bearing to a machine shop and have them check one, that will tell the story.

Calm down. Even the best companies with the best reputations can sometimes have an unforeseen issue. You asked for help, your getting suggestions and they are all logical to look into.

Doesn't matter who it is **** can go wrong, have a machine shop look at them. Also when the tire shop balanced the wheels how much weight did they have to add?
