Yeah, it'll basically just cover the lip of the wheels. It's only 3/8" different on each side. It'll still look good.

Not mad, just surprised there's another one. I didn't do more work than i had to lol, maybe it wasn't necessary, but modding any car that doesn't race is unnecessary.

If that's what you're doing, removing the adaptor plate and running wider wheels with a lower offset is going to make this car look proper! The people that are saying "It's only half an inch", I don't think you quiet understand what's being done here. I'z shall explain!! Dom can yell at me if I get this wrong. All measurement are going to be approximate.

Dom's old wheels were 18x9 with probably a +42mm offset. He used about an 18mm adaptor plate to reach a final offset of +24mm. While this gave him the stance he wanted, the wheels didn't fit the "Stance". Reason being, the spacer is what did the work and not the wheels. When you use an adaptor plate this thick, you MUST run a high offset wheel or your final offset is going to be WAY too low and your **** won't fit, lol. High offset wheels of this type generally don't look good, especially when you're going to a Stanced look.

Now, with a 9.5" wide wheel with a 30mm offset and no adaptor plate, the outer lip of these wheels should sit within' 1mm of the old wheels making the Stance look identical to the old setup from the front and rear of the car. But here is where the difference is. Because there is no adaptor, the shape of the wheel has to change in order to get the center of the wheel back to the hub. So, we take away 1/4" (6.25mm) for the additional width of the wheel, then take away 18mm because we got rid of the adaptor plate. So, what this gives us is an additional 24.25mm (a ***** hair less than 1") of additional concavity!

For those of you who still don't get it. It's gonna look sick.....

ooohhh, didnt know he was running a spacer on the old wheels that makes a lot more sense

I don't mind some stretch, but that is ridiculous. You need to educate yourself on what is safe and what isn't. The bead on that tire isn't even close to being set properly. I'm not looking to start a bitch fight. You're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. Just don't try and argue that it's a "good idea" to run a tire that is stretched that much, because it could be downright deadly.
