As title says, not looking to spend a ton of cash. The car put down 303whp/350lbft

I don't need nt01s to mess around on the streets and daily drive it. Was looking at neogens/invos seen that some people recommended them but I really don't know tires that well to make a good decision. Any opinions?

I got these last summer when they first came out. They where out of some of my 1st choices figured I give these try. When I bought them I thought they were 320 tread wear they are 460. So not as sticky as I thought but they got me 2.1's 60' last summer. Lanching really soft also. Just got my powell s1 mount in and testing it this month at the drags!!

Conti's ExtremeContact DW. They're very affordable for a serious brand name summer tire, excellent in the rain, very comfortable, will give you many miles and dry grip is very close to top summer tires. If you want the best traction for the buck, there are better tires. If you want the best all around summer tire for the buck, the Conti's are very hard to beat.

Btw, if you get a good summer tire like the Dunlops or Conti's, you have to come to AMP this summer! lol

Loved my Dunlops but they have worn like crazy and are starting to leak. They need to be changed so I'm in the market now also.

The tread wear rating doesn't directly correlate to grip, especially between different brands. Age is a big factor too. These tires new will have more grip than a 5 year old set of extreme performance tires.

I bought the 102s last summer as well and I've been impressed. I just wanted something with decent handling characteristics and longer tread life since I use r-comps for autocross.

I've had my DZ101's for 2 years and they still have a lot of tread left.

I don't mind spending a little more on something that will be of higher traction. Just don't want to spend too much. Looked at a lot of reviews of the extreme's. Gonna get them priced up at a local shop tomorrow.

That is a great price. The main negative of that tire, if they're going to be used mostly for street driving, is the noise. They sound like an offroad tire on certain types of pavement.

Nice point. I'm sure my exhaust will tune the tire noise out

It's more than typical road noise. The offroad tire comment is not an exaggeration.

Wont bother me. Long as I have grip and great handling noise wont bother me.

My car isnt a quiet luxury car, lol. It's loud as it is, and I like it.

+1 for the conti's. I'm on my 3rd set I like them so much. I go through tires rather quickly though, but its definitely not the tires fault haha.

Doc do you guys have any plans to incorporate more brands in the selection on your site? Biggest reason why I no longer purchase at tirerack is because you guys rarely have the tires im looking for. Falken/Ohtsu, Nitto, cooper, mickey thompson, etc.

I had Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Pricey yes. But they lasted me 3 seasons (7 months each)

Great DD and decent AutoX tire. I drove them hard on the street too. If I didn't autox they'd have lasted me 4 seasons. Also amazing rain performance.

If you want a good performance I'd go with RS3's. I keep hearing from autox guys with Direzza's once you start sliding they glaze and your lap is hooped.
