Colorado has snow, but snow is only around for a bit. I'd say if it snows hard, it'll be gone in a week. Then the roads will be dry for like 2 weeks then.

If it's a mild or moderate snow, it'll be gone from the road the next day.

So all seasons is all I need, but I still want the best snow performance for those snow days.

I was thinking about

• Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105
• Goodyear Eagle GT
• General G-Max AS-03
• Kumho Ecsta ASX <--- cheapest and the ones I'm seriously considering
• Yokohama AVID ENVigor
• Sumitomo HTR A/S P01

These are the ones I'm considering based on my limited research.

being that I sell a lot of snow tires....the majority of my customers swear by these...

BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S H&V

those who dont want to pay that much...will typically go for these...

Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S-C

I too have heard good things about these...however what you may not like is the price. They can get pretty damn pricey.

I would look at the Conti Extreme Contact DWS. They work really well in snow, slush, rain, and on ice. I put these on my wife's car last fall, and we have had one of the heaviest snows in a really long time in NE Ohio. They have good grip and a nice ride. The sidewall is a bit soft, but that is the only complaint that we have about them. Her car takes a 50 series tire compared to our 40 series, so this might not be as noticeable.

If you look on Tire Rack, they should be the highest rated of the ones that you picked. The price is a bit more, but they are worth it.

The best in snow will be a snow tire. I have Blizzaks on my Cobalt, and that thing is a tank in snow. It will go through just about anything with them on. No all season will compare to these in snow or on ice.

The Goodyear is a nice tire, but in deep snow or on ice they are not that good. A good friend has them on his Mustang, and it gets to be a wild ride with them. I was with him one night when he locked all 4 up and blew through an intersection due to ice. They also are wearing out fast on him. I have had bad experiences with Hankook, so I will not get them again.

I went to tirerack and watched a video with snow tests.

Looks like Conti Extreme Contacts and Goodyear Eagle F1 are my choices. They're a bit pricey unfortunately but I guess you get what you pay for.
