BFG g-force COMP-2's vs. COMP-2 A/S
It's about time for new tires and I'm torn between these 2. Does anyone have any experience with these? The car is almost stock at the moment. Will have SRI, catless DP, tune, maybe upgraded rear sway bar. I live in Houston so I believe i can get by with a pure summer tire. Currently running Goodyear Eagle All Seasons. I do quite a bit of driving and would like the longetivity to be decent but I dont mind taking a hit from the Eagles. I may start doing some light Autox. Correct me if I'm wrong on anything. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions?

I'll be getting the comps for my next set based off reviews I've read. I currently have two sets of tires one being conti's dws and I have no complaints for what they are and have lasted pretty long, even have some life left in them.

There both probably fine tires we are in fwd cars no tire is gonna 100% solve traction issues they help but it's more on yourself and the loud pedal haha A word on tires tho since i looked for months last year(ended up picking Dunlop 102's on sale haha good tire btw there still looking good 20k later) the higher rating on tread the harder the tire in most cases so the a/s will probably grip less under wheel spin because it will take longer to get sticky. Mine the rating was wrong on the website and its 460 instead of 320 so I was kinda bummed but they hold fine. As long as I watch my foot just like most of these "performance" tires. So don't worries to much and just pick somthing that doesn't break the bank. if u think u need a/s cuz the weather just do that. To me doesn't matter sunny 90% of the year lol #NorCalLife😂
Good luck!

To be sure, the summer only compound in the Comp2 will be better at the track than nearly every all season tire out there.
See our test results here comparing the Comp2 to similar summer only tires.....

Thats a good write up. I'm liking the Comp2s. I'm expecting to take a longetivity hit with the lower treadwear rating than the Goodyears but I gotta ask, what kind of mileage should I expect from these during everyday driving?

I have the comp-2's in 245/40/18 and I like em. They spin a little in 1st from a roll, but hold second all day(except in wet, of course). I autocross them and they actually have pretty good lateral grip too. Now, they aren't comparable to a 200tw track tire, but for the price they are a nice summer tire.
