I purchased black konig hotswaps and maybe im nit picking but it looks like they are going to get scratched to hell when i put them on because every scratch unlike the chrome rims is very noticable. i already got one rim going back and now ive found another scratch on the lip of another one should i send them back?

 

if u got them brand new they shouldnt have a single mark on em imo...i would "nit pick" too

 

Get some black paint to do touch-ups on a regular basis, or send them back and get something different.

 

does anyone know the color black that konig uses so i can have a nice matching paint to do touch ups with.

 

Did you buy them new? I have the same rims with the chrome inserts for a year now and no scratches on mine. They are cleaned a few times a week when they are on as well. That black paint is pretty durable, more so than I originally thought when I bought them.

 

yes i bought them new from discount tire and there replacing two of the 4 now but i emailed them and said if the two new ones have something wrong with them i want a refund

 

if they are new send them back.....new rims should have no defects.

 

does anyone know the exact color black that konig uses for the hotswaps so when there installed i can touch them up when needed.
