Conti sc2's in winter
How bad are they going to be in the winter? I've garaged my car every winter since I bought it new in 08, but my winter car bit the dust. My car only has 15k on it so the tires still have decent life left on them and I plan on getting a new camaro ss in the spring so I don't really want to buy winter tires if I can get through a few months with the sc2's. It would just be to and from work which is only 15 mins and I wouldn't be going on the freeway. So has anybody ran these summer tires in the winter.

Yeah, I figured they'd be bad. I was just seeing if I could get by with the tires that I already have on the car since I plan on selling the car in the spring. If I have to buy tires I was looking at the blizzak ws70's or the cheaper conti dws's.

I was considering going with the stock tires last Winter. DON"T DO IT!
I honestly didn't think tires could be that bad in snow. Don't even try it. I tried going down the highway for a quick cruise after the first snowfall. I pulled onto the shoulder to make a call or something and when I tried to pull back on the road I started sliding down to the ditch. Had to reverse to get back on the road.
This was also stuck. I had to reverse down onto the field to get some traction and momentum.
