CSS Fitment Thread VOL. Stance or GTFO
+25. The left rear doesn't poke as much as the right (damn swing arm cars). Plus falken 215's run way small so its more like a 195 or 205. A ton of stretch... Dom, Zach, and Beamer have all seen my car in person...
Well I got my XXR's on the sedan. And the fitment was much better than expected.
However.
How are you sedan guys getting away with NOT rubbing your rear tires on the inner fender on those 9 inch wide wheels? I've rolled the fender and i still rub not all the time but enough I worry. What's the secret? should i stiffen up the damper on my rear shocks? Or is it just a part of what happens when you drop this car and not worry about it? I'd like a bit more low, but It looks like I'd either have to pull the fender...or can camber be adjusted on our solid rear axles? How are you 4-ddor guys dealing with this issue?

Specs:
17x8.25
Offset +25
Backspacing 5.61
Stance GR+ coilovers.
However.

Are you rolled and pulled or just rolled. ? You'll have to pull it as well.
I ran 18x9.5 et35 with a roll and pull and had my stance gr+ maxed out. I was running a 225/35/18 tire. What size tire are you running ?
This year I'm running 16x9.5 et 12.6 with 205/45/16 and the rear doesn't rub either. Hsds maxed out but collars still in.
Make sure your pulled and it depends on your tire size. I have yet to rub tires at all.
Also I'm assuming your car has rear drums? If so just shim your hubs and run camber. The guys with disk brakes in the rear can't do this because the caliper bracket is part of the trailing arm, so once you shim on those cars the caliper doesn't move but the rotor does, and you end up pinching the rotor with the caliper. This won't happen on a drum brake car. So shim it to your desired camber set up.
Hope that helps
Tire size is 215/45/17. My fenders are just rolled, not pulled. What do I need to pull the fenders properly? Eastwood roller?
And yes it's an LS so it has Drums. I'll look into shimming too. Since I only need a hair of clearance, and I'd rather do that than risk cracking my paint by pulling. Thanks a lot mang!
