Question for the stance guys,

I am thinking this as my setup this summer:

Front: 18x8.5 +35 Offset 205/215-40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 + 35 Offset 205/215-40/18

I want to be flush with some tire stretch. Does this sound plausible to you guys?

Mainly should i go with a 205 or 215?

Give me your thoughts!!

You should go with a 225 because the offsets don't need an aggressive stretch. That's the same setup I had last year and carpenter is running it on his car right now. Now need for a thiner tire.

The only reason I'm running 205s on a 8.5/9.5 this year is because my offsets are et6.6 and et 12.6

Ah, so the More + the offset the smaller the tire needed.

I might look into 5x110 to 5x114.3 adapters, because there's NO wheels i like in our pattern.

Also take into consideration that I think he's planning on running wheels not in our bolt pattern. So he'd need to run adapters as well which would change his offset

I will vouch that with your rim size and offset a 215 is much too tall.

Well i haven't set anything in stone yet, Just researching. First I am going to buy the conversion hubs, and go from there with a wheel, then pick a tire.

If your running an adapter plus those offsets then you need a narrower tire. If those are final ets then 225.

Another pics of my car from fitted somebody took

8.5 with +35 is fine, thats what i have and i'm totally flush. Your first mistake is asking a vw guy how to stance a cobalt.

With the right offsets and some working you can pull off 10s all around.
