quite a bit sunken
Yea I checked them and it doesn't say et or have a + anywhere on them. How much would a 17x9 +25 poke, i could put it on the car and measure how much it sticks over and that would determine whether they are +25?
what are the specs on your wheels if you don't mind me asking?

Are you sure you had XXR 522's though? They didn't make that size in a 4x100 pattern unless you bought them used from someone who had metal work done and redrilling.
so if i have a base model cobalt 2010. i jsut put 17x7.5 helo wheels on it. the tire size is ?/35r17. i cant rememebr the first number all i know is ovrall diameter is same as stock. how low can i go with out rubbing
Picture above this post has the fronts +25 and the rears are +30 on my 17x9s
loll you won't rub with a 7.5. Ever.
*edit: assuming you don't have a -197* offset.
So I am having some serious issues with my axles. The outer cv joints keep getting chewed the eff up. Was told by some guys on another forum that the stance guys over here on .net talked about cutting thier axles down an inch.
The way he described it you would cut an inch out of the shaft and then reweld it.
What I would like to know is would it not be possible to remove the outer joint completely from the shaft and cut or grind off the end? And if so would there be enough spline left so that you wouldn't have to get them resplined?
Any advice you guys can give me would rock!

he was slowing down in the turning lane. lady pulled right out in front of him, he slammed on the brakes and swerved and hit car. multiple witnesses vouching for him not being at fault.
