they don't do them bigger because they get extremely hard to balance

Would the Varrstoen 2.2.1 wheels work on an SS with 18x9.5" +22 offset? Or would it poke too much? I'm just on B&G springs until I get coils in a couple of months

You might get away with it in the front if you just roll your fenders because afaik 1LSJ2NV is 18x9.5 +25 up front with just a roll, but you would probably have to pull the fenders a little in the rear. You will rub with just springs though. Coils are necessary I think being that aggressive.

Not really. It's only 3mm more than 1LSJ2NV and his looks good imo.

And it's +8 more than the rear. Nates set up isn't flush but its pretty much at the max amount of poke that looks good. Without massive fender work the +22 will be too much imo

I agree it's about the max amount of poke that looks good, but Nate's fenders are only rolled and not pulled. If you pull the rear fenders a little bit then +22 should work. I guess it depends on whether you want to pull or not. I wouldn't call it massive fender work to pull them out a little bit, provided you have someone that knows what they're doing of course, but some people don't want to go that route. I know at least 3-4 people that have done it though and it turned out fine. You would definitely need coilovers though.

+22 would be way too aggressive in the rear. if we had camber adjustment you could get away with it
